UW Medical Center – Southeast is seeking a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 75% FTE, Day Shift (30 hours a week)
  • Rotating schedule – Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday: 8 AM – 2 PM and Sunday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Week 2- Week 2: Thursday: 8 AM – 2 PM & Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
    The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to patients at Southeast’s medical facility. They are knowledgeable about clinic processes, handle patient inquiries, and assist with appointment scheduling. Working collaboratively with the healthcare team, they ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responds to patient inquiries and assists with appointment scheduling.
  • Manages patient records and ensures accurate documentation.
  • Coordinates with healthcare providers to address patient needs.
  • Contributes to a positive patient experience through excellent service.
  • Assists in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
  • Adheres to clinic policies and procedures for patient confidentiality and safety.
  • Utilizes electronic health record systems for patient interactions and documentation.
  • Participates in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Follows department protocols for patient data privacy and security. Adheres to infection control guidelines and hygiene practices.

  • REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of hire.
