Part-time schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9am – 1:30pm, Wednesday: 7am – 1:30pm. Rotational shifts required including holidays and weekends
Please note: While this position primarily involves night shifts, the chosen candidate should be adaptable during the initial training phase, which may involve daytime or evening shifts. The training period typically lasts for the first few months, following which the standard night shift schedule will be established. We appreciate your flexibility and dedication to mastering the role during this training period.
Role Summary
Accountable for the reception, processing, and distribution of clinical laboratory specimens.
Credentials
Primary Responsibilities

Receive, categorize, and allocate clinical laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.

Process samples by confirming patient details, logging samples into the laboratory information system, and preparing samples for examination.

Supervise and replenish stock of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.

Adhere to established protocols and procedures for specimen handling, storage, and disposal.

Maintain a hygienic and organized laboratory workspace.

Adhere to safety and quality standards, including the correct use of personal protective gear, proper disposal of hazardous substances, and compliance with laboratory accreditation guidelines.

Collaborate with laboratory personnel and healthcare professionals to guarantee prompt and accurate sample processing.

Execute other relevant duties as delegated by laboratory management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field Preferred or High School Diploma or Equivalent Mandatory
