As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in processing laboratory requisitions accurately. This includes reviewing requisitions for completeness, entering patient data into the system, labeling specimens, and handling specimen aliquoting. In addition, you will be responsible for completing reports, maintaining quality control, and managing phone communications by taking and relaying messages efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process laboratory requisitions, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
• Label, centrifuge, and aliquot specimens as required.
• Provide information and relay messages via phone to medical staff and other personnel.

Job Hours:

• Full-time

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology, specimen processing, and medical coding preferred
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities
