Job Overview
This role involves various responsibilities to ensure the cleanliness and organization of a designated unit and to provide support to colleagues in doing the same. Duties may include mentoring other team members, aiding in patient flow management, contributing to hospital initiatives, offering customer service, and maintaining unit supplies and equipment. The position requires ensuring the tidy appearance of the assigned unit by cleaning equipment, furniture, floors, walls, restrooms, medication rooms, utility areas, sleep quarters, meeting spaces, and more. Tasks also include managing patient room cleaning, maintaining inventory, and supporting various unit needs. Additionally, the role entails participating in learning opportunities, complying with training requirements and health protocols, and contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the unit.
Qualifications
Proficiency in English language for reading, speaking, and comprehension of oral and written instructions. Strong communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with communication tools such as Voalte for shift-related messaging. Basic computer literacy. Physical stamina to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift items of varying weights during duties.
