POSITION SUMMARY:
Works closely with the Community Engagement Director, Outreach Coordinator, community members, and organizational partners to facilitate various aspects of Community Outreach Services at Unity Health Center.

Primary duties involve coordinating outreach programs, managing community engagement data, overseeing outreach initiatives and partnerships, organizing community events, and researching new strategies to improve outreach effectiveness.


Requirements


KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Preferred certifications in community engagement or related field

RELEVANT SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in data management tools, social media platforms, and presentation software
  • Excellent communication skills, including conflict resolution and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrated cultural competency
  • Strong organizational skills with a background in maintaining records, reports, and outreach materials

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years in community outreach programs or similar roles

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

  • Supervisor: Community Engagement Director

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Possible exposure to environmental hazards

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Flexible work hours with potential for schedule adjustments and urgent situations. Strong oral and written communication skills, extended periods of desk work, manual coordination for writing and computer tasks, and occasional physical activity (ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.)
