Responsibilities:

Joining the unit-based team, this role involves providing both direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Apart from clinical duties, this position will also support patients and families in the ED waiting area. Duties include assisting patients upon arrival, aiding the triage RN in assessing medical needs, and offering information and support to patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

– High School diploma or equivalent
– Proficient in English, with Spanish language skills as a bonus
– Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to remain composed in high-pressure scenarios
– Adaptability, priority-setting skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

Certifications/Licenses:

– National Registered Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians OR proof of completing 2 semesters in an accredited Registered Nursing Program
– CNA qualification may be considered
– Basic Lifesaving Certification from the American Heart Association

Salary Range:

$33.38 – $41.39 USD Hourly
