EMERGENCY RESPONSE SPECIALIST – (Downtown Medical Center – 20 hours, night shift)

Conducts emergency response activities, provides crisis intervention, imparts patient and family guidance, facilitates access to community services, organizations, and initiatives. Contributes to patient registration, verifies insurance eligibility, and documents assessment data. Monitors patients for a secure and healing environment, guiding individuals through involuntary commitment processes as needed.

Education
Associates Degree (Mandatory)
Bachelors Degree: with relevant coursework in counseling, social sciences, psychology, social work, justice studies, or education (Desired)

Experience
1 Year experience in the realm of Emergency Response and an Associates Degree with appropriate coursework in counseling, psychology, social sciences, social work, justice studies, or education OR 2 Years experience in the public or private sector in human services, with a minimum of 1 year working directly with clients holding an Associates degree in any relevant field. (Mandatory)
1 year of experience with a Bachelors Degree in any relevant field or an LPN completion from an accredited nursing or vocational school. (Desired)

License/Certifications
BLS – Basic Life Support (Mandatory)
