The Receptionist is a valuable team member responsible for various administrative tasks under the supervision of the office manager.


SUPERVISED BY: ADMINISTRATION MANAGER


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


DUTIES: The Receptionist role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and directing inquiries

  • Greeting visitors and assisting with check-ins

  • Managing office supplies and equipment

  • Supporting staff with various administrative tasks

PERFORMANCE TASKS:

  • Efficiently performs assigned duties related to phone call management, visitor assistance, office maintenance, or other tasks as delegated within the designated time frame.

  • Participates in required training sessions.

  • Arrives at work as per schedule, signs in, and stays until relieved by the manager.

  • Informs the manager and administration promptly if unable to report for duty.

  • Maintains positive working relationships with colleagues by demonstrating respect, patience, and professionalism.

  • Adheres to all office policies and follows instructions from the Administration Manager regarding safety, cleanliness, work standards, and procedures.

  • Performs tasks ensuring food handling safety, equipment cleaning, and serving correctly.

Requirements – Necessary:

  • Completion of high school or equivalent is mandatory
  • Valid authorization to work in the USA – Candidates should possess this authorization on the first day of work.
Preferred Credentials:

  • Food Handlers Certificate (ServSafe)

CONDITIONS: This role must comply with City of Boston residency regulations.
