The role of Simulation Actors (SAs) is crucial in providing practical training for learners across various fields. As an SA, you will immerse yourself in different scenarios, accurately depicting characters and situations to enhance the learning experience. SAs play a vital role in both skill development sessions and assessments. Applications will be reviewed continuously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master key details of scenarios; embody characters by responding realistically to queries posed by students in simulated settings in fields like business, law, and psychology.
  • Allow students to practice relevant techniques on you while ensuring respect for professionalism and privacy.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality concerning student performance, case details, and evaluation content.
  • Offer objective feedback to learners based on preset criteria using approved feedback methods.
  • Attend all scheduled working days and essential training sessions, including onboarding and skill enhancements.
  • Observe student interactions to provide constructive feedback on communication and practical skills.
  • Be open to feedback to enhance your character portrayal and feedback delivery. Undertake cleaning tasks in the workspace at the end of each session.

Desired Qualifications
  • Flexible availability during business hours (Monday – Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm) throughout the academic year. Note: Not mandatory for all weekdays.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including email communication, virtual meetings, and note-taking within specified timeframes.
  • Prompt response to work-related emails.
  • Comfortable wearing specific attire for scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional conduct towards all involved parties.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Access to reliable transportation to the designated campus location.
