Role Summary:
Position Overview: As a Surgical Assistant, you will provide crucial support to the surgical team at XYZ Healthcare System.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle and monitor specialized surgical equipment and instruments following established protocols.
Coordinate inventory management of medical supplies and medications required for surgeries.
Record and maintain accurate surgical data and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Perform any necessary administrative tasks and assist in enhancing departmental processes.
Adhere to hospital policies on conducting point-of-care tests as necessary.
Demonstrate proficiency in the safe handling of gases for surgical procedures.
