Schedule: Full-time 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and Every third Weekend.

Job Overview
Join our Food Services team at Pinecrest Wellness and contribute to the well-being of our patients and their families by actively engaging in various aspects of food service. This entails managing the call center, preparing patient meals, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of utensils and equipment, delivering and collecting meal trays, and overseeing inventory. Effective communication and teamwork are vital to ensure seamless service delivery and promote a positive workplace atmosphere. No prior experience is necessary – comprehensive training and support will be provided to help you develop and enhance your skills for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities

Organizes and stocks serving stations with tableware, food items, condiments, etc. Prepares cold dishes such as salads, desserts, and supplements, ensuring proper storage, refrigeration, and labeling of all food items used.

Serves food according to instructions, replenishing items as needed. Cleans food stations post-use by sanitizing counters, steam tables, and warmers.

Operates the cash register station and handling equipment accurately for payment collection. Balances the register, records totals, and deposits funds appropriately.

Undertakes regular and deep cleaning tasks, including washing, scrubbing, and rinsing pots, pans, utensils, and other equipment. Operates the dishwasher, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage of cleaned equipment. Maintains sanitation through daily cleaning activities like sweeping, mopping, and using floor cleaning machines.

Sets up and transports food carts to patients and other designated areas. Ensures carts are cleaned after use and organizes soiled equipment for washing.

Works on the tray line, assembling patient trays as per dietary guidelines. Delivers trays with precision, verifying patient details for accurate delivery.

Engages in quality control tasks such as monitoring food and equipment temperatures, and assists in maintaining department equipment and supplies.
