Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Therapeutic Support Specialist to become a part of our team. Our ideal candidate will possess a deep commitment to assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism, through the application of therapeutic techniques. American Enrichment Services has immediate openings in the Miami area and nearby regions, including Coral Gables, Hialeah, and Homestead, for part-time positions ranging from 8 to 15 hours weekly.

Duties:

• Execute therapeutic plans under the guidance of a licensed master’s level therapist
• Record data on observable client behaviors
• Aid in formulating treatment targets and milestones
• Work collaboratively with families and caregivers to facilitate client advancement
• Maintain precise and updated client documentation
• Engage in team meetings and training workshops

Competencies:

• Background in supporting individuals with developmental and/or cognitive disabilities
• Proficient in therapeutic methodologies
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
• Keen focus on accuracy and protocol adherence

American Enrichment Services’ Onboarding Program offers a warm and thorough training environment to accommodate individuals new to the field of developmental disabilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of post-secondary education or current enrollment in at least 6 college credits
• Satisfactory background screening, driving history, and clearance from relevant authorities
• Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle
