Job Responsibilities

The Inventory Coordinator is accountable for managing and organizing stock supplies and equipment required for surgical procedures scheduled for the following day. They are responsible for arranging instruments correctly on shelves in the designated area. Moreover, they are tasked with receiving and processing requests from the operating room personnel for disposables and instruments. Additionally, this role involves overseeing the replenishment of disposable items in Omni-cells located in the operating rooms. The Inventory Coordinator also checks and arranges OR case carts to ensure the accurate selection of supplies and instruments for delivery to respective OR rooms. Furthermore, they support in organizing case carts and containers for the SPD Technicians and stocking specialty carts for various hospital departments.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include picking supplies for surgical procedures scheduled for the next day, restocking disposable supplies in the OR Omni Cells, replenishing items in code carts and specialty carts, and organizing departmental instruments on shelves. The Inventory Coordinator is also responsible for verifying the accuracy of case carts, responding to incoming calls from both internal and external customers for order fulfillment, and prioritizing tasks based on medical necessity.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this role is $17.50 per hour to $26.75 per hour.
