Role Summary
As supervised by the Team Leaders, responsible for facility-wide maintenance, dishwashing, and sanitation operations. Key Responsibilities: – Arranging patient meal trays onto food carts for delivery to different departments. – Transporting and retrieving meal carts within the hospital premises. – Thoroughly washing and sterilizing pots and pans using designated cleaning agents. – Completing various sanitation tasks as per the monthly kitchen cleaning schedule. – Operating dishwashing equipment, ensuring clean dishes are appropriately stored. – Cleaning and sanitizing food carts. – Maintaining cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including machine breakdown and cleaning. – Supporting meal service operations. – Performing floor cleaning duties as assigned. – Disposing of waste and maintaining cleanliness in trash collection areas. – Carrying out any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
Applicants should be able to read, write, and effectively communicate routine information. Ability to work independently based on verbal instructions. Willingness to learn the practices, routines, and equipment relevant to the assigned area. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals is essential. Completion of grades 7 to 10 or equivalent is preferred.
