Based in the Greater Boston area, our college offers a range of educational opportunities across multiple campuses in Newton, Brookline, and Quincy, Massachusetts.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team and support our diverse student population. This is a part-time position, with no union affiliation or benefits included. Reporting to the Director of Student Services, the Academic Advisor will provide guidance and assistance to students on the Newton and Brookline campuses.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Offer academic guidance and support to students in adherence to program policies;
- Maintain accurate records and materials for advising sessions, addressing any issues promptly;
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of student information at all times;
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance advising skills and knowledge;
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and communication of academic appointments;
- Facilitate workshops or seminars as needed to enhance student success;
- Report any student concerns or policy violations to supervisors;
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively when needed;
- Proficiency in using various computer applications, such as Microsoft Office;
- Experience operating computers, printers, and other office equipment;
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $28 per hour
Position Type: Part-Time Staff
