Job Description
As a member of our dynamic team at Sunshine Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting with patient intake procedures and coordinating the processing of medical specimens with oversight from the Laboratory Services Supervisor.
Working Hours
We are looking for a flexible candidate who is open to working various shifts to accommodate scheduling needs and offer extra support. Availability for a minimum of one shift per week is essential.
Academic Qualifications
A high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) is required for this role.
Certifications and Skills
While no certification is mandatory, prior exposure to laboratory procedures or patient intake processes is beneficial.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle patient registration within our Electronic Health Records system.
  • Coordinate specimen processing within the Laboratory Management Software.
  • Provide top-notch customer service to patients and stakeholders within the healthcare setting.
  • Manage work lists, perform audits, and ensure data accuracy consistently.
  • Support the training of team members on our internal systems.
  • Uphold compliance with organizational and departmental protocols.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
