Job Description

Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC) is dedicated to providing high-quality education and support services to the community. Located in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, BRCC aims to empower students and help them achieve their academic goals. With modern facilities and dedicated faculty and staff, BRCC provides a vibrant learning environment for students of all backgrounds.

BRCC is seeking a full-time customer service representative/client relations specialist to join the Student Services team. This role will involve direct interaction with students and assisting them in various aspects of their academic journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students and visitors
  • Assist students with enrollment, course registration, and academic inquiries
  • Handle telephone and email inquiries from students and the public
  • Maintain accurate student records and assist in data entry tasks
  • Coordinate student events and activities
  • Collaborate with academic advisors and faculty members

Special Assignments

May be assigned additional tasks as needed. In case of emergencies, may be required to provide support to the institution or public authorities.

KSA’s/Required Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
