An Overview of Responsibilities
The Laundry Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in managing the inventory and distribution of hospital linens. Responsibilities include maintaining linen quantity, ensuring cleanliness, adhering to regulatory standards, and minimizing loss of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and replenish linen stock levels regularly
  • Check and reconcile incoming and outgoing linen quantities
  • Handle rewash and disposal of damaged linens
  • Monitor distribution of products to maintain adequate levels
  • Ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines for linen storage and handling
  • Manage linen inventory and place purchase orders as needed
  • Provide support for Environmental Services when required
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary


Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required


Experience Requirements

  • Preferably 1-3 years of experience in linen or laundry services
