ROLE OVERVIEW

Responsible for organizing, moving, serving, collecting, and tidying all food trays for patients. Involves preparing snacks, salads, and cold dishes when necessary. Properly store utensils and supplies for patient and cafeteria usage. Ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas and floors as assigned. Manage stock items, ensuring correct rotation, labeling, and dating as needed. Serve beverages like coffee, tea, and juice. Support salad and cafeteria personnel with food prep and setup as required. Excellent communication skills, menu knowledge, and telephone etiquette are essential.

Perform additional duties as directed by nutrition supervisors and management.
