MEDICAL ASSISTANT- Cardiology Clinic- Evening Shift (3:30pm to 11pm)

Responsible for providing support in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients under the guidance of healthcare professionals. Primary responsibilities include assisting with medical procedures, conducting diagnostic tests, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Implements treatment plans focusing on physical and emotional well-being, and responds promptly to emergencies. Performs vital sign assessments, administers medications as directed, and closely monitors patient progress. Demonstrates adherence to clinic protocols and prioritizes patient care. Reports directly to the Cardiologist for supervision and direction. Completion of relevant medical assistant program within 90 days of hire is mandatory.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Other: Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical exposure (Preferred)

Experience
Previous work experience in a medical facility (Preferred)

License/Certifications
BLS – Basic Life Support (Required)
MA – Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)
